GKCBCA All-Academic Team

GKCBCA, along with Hy-Vee and Pepsi, selects an All-Academic team based on basketball participation, school leadership, school citizenship, academic record, and references.

In 2008, each member of the All-Academic Team received a $1,000 scholarship.  The scholarship honor would not be possible without Hy-Vee and Pepsi's contributions.

In addition, each member of the 2008 GKCBCA All-Academic Team was a finalist for the Barrett Wepler #4 Award.  Kameryn Groom and Spencer Harris each received an additional $1,000 scholarship through the support of Red Robin Restaurants in Kansas City.
